My role as a remote designer
While under contract for Kast ( previously Evasyst ) I accomplished a wide variety of design jobs. I utilized many tools and platforms, some of which I had to learn on the job, and picked up quickly. Tech startups require a great deal of flexibility, speed, organization, and communication.
This wide array of apps and platforms were used to produce work, and to effectively communicate with the entire team. My primary role was UI / UX design, but I also produced marketing materials like social media ads, promotional videos, and slide decks.
Marketing Motion Graphics
Quick and flashy animations were regularly used across social media to promote the app, and to bring awareness to major developments.
Video Production
I recorded, edited, and provided the voiceover for many tutorial videos while I was contracted. The video below was used to promote and instruct users on how to use “Parties” within Kast.
